This week has been very exciting. On Monday we had a delivery of eggs from the 'Living Eggs Company'. We watched a video about where eggs come from and found out that some eggs are for eating and that some for hatching.  

We have been learning how to care for and look after the eggs (keeping them warm in the incubator). Making sure we are not too loud and being careful not to knock the eggs.  

Each day the children had an opportunity to observe any changes (eggs wobbling, cracks and chicks hatching).  

On Thursday, some of the eggs had hatched. It was amazing to see the excitement on the children's faces.
