Nursery Admissions can be done directly through the school office. Please contact the school admin team on 01763 241535 for an application form or collect one in person from the school office during our opening times.  Alternatively, please download and complete an application form from our website.

Children can start nursery during the Autumn, Spring or Summer Term. We take children from the term after they turn 3 years of age.  We advise that you book an appointment with the school office to come and see our Roman Way Nursery setting before you apply. This would be an opportunity to view the rest of the school, especially if your child was to continue their educational journey at Roman Way. 

Attendance at a school’s nursery class does not guarantee a place in the Reception class of a school.

You are now able to apply for your child to start at Roman Way Academy Nursery for the academic year 2026-2027 and we are still admitting children for this academic year 2025-2026.

If your child is moving up to Reception in the academic year 2026-2027 you will need to apply for a Reception place via Hertfordshire County Council, even if your child has a place in the Nursery. You can do this through the Hertfordshire admissions team via the following link:
